On a usual Saturday, I can often be found relaxing at home or editing photos at a coffee shop. While many people use this three day weekend to go to the lake or have parties, I had other plans. I was invited by some family friends to go on an exciting adventure.
After a few hours of sleep, they picked me up and we headed to Auburn.
This was what greeted us when we arrived! And these were just a few...
After some prep, things started to get real. We got buckled in and, even though I prefer to behind the camera, I thought it was a good time for a selfie!
After take off, (and temporarily being shocked), I was in awe. Flying commercially is one thing, but flying over an area closer to home is so different! Look at all the farmlands of Yuba City!
I mean, how often do you get to fly over your old high school?
Isn't this picturesque? Wanna know why this picture is so cool though? Look at the next one...
That little red circle is my car! Parked outside of my house! This really puts life into a whole new perspective...it's always great to see everyday things differently.
After landing safely, I snapped a few more shots...
I had such a good time enjoying the freedom that we have in our country, because of the brave. I'm so thankful for these friends and such a thrilling experience! ♥︎
