If you know me, you know that this is one of my favorite events that we try to attend every year. If you want to check out past posts about this event, you can find them right here ➔ 2016 and 2015.
So while it may be hard to imagine, the Whole Earth Festival was even better this year, because my friend Camy was able to come this year!
The weather was absolutely perfect! By this time of year, it usually was pretty hot, but we were blessed with blue skies and a light breeze!
So we set off on our journey to find some beautiful handmade treasures!
Mom has always been a fan of this artist that makes these fun hanging vases fromrecycled glass !
We also found these cute little bonsai gardens...
But my favorite souvenirs usually are pieces of jewelry!
This pretty little wave ring came home with me!
After the jewelry, my favorite thing has to be...well, if you know me, you know I am a foodie! That delicious Pad Thai you saw at the beginning? I got it at this little place!
After finishing up that, we grabbed some dessert. Camy had chocolate covered fruit, Mom had a vanilla ice-cream bar, and I had a Mexican chocolate one. We took our snacks and walked around some more.
If you like people watching, this is definitely an event for you!
There are always talented belly dancers!
We even found this dog who seemed to be the coolest person there!
Nothing could top this person walking their pig! Of course, right after taking this picture I asked if I could pet their piggie.
Some of the vendors just did such a great job of displaying their products. Mom, being a floral designer, asked me to get a shot of this cute little flower vendor.
I personally loved this hat vendor because it reminded me of something from Alice in Wonderland.
But I think the most fun part was when we came upon a booth selling faux animal ears. Sounds crazy, right? It was! Crazy fun!
So before you see what they looked like I want you to know what was going through our minds at the time. Once we tried them on, we turned to each other, and thought we looked like Ewoks!
(For those of you who aren't Star War nerds, here's a random image I found on the internet to help...)
So we decided to be Ewoks and continue our adventures!
Yes, I know it was silly, but you gotta have a little fun, right?
After all this fun, we had to take some fun hippy portraits because I'd just bought a prism for photography and wanted to try it out! These are some of the fun results we got. Thanks to Camy for coming along and modeling. 😉
I couldn't have said it better! Another great adventure for the books!
