Sam & Kristin’s Intimate Ceremony

I am so glad that Sam and Kristin decided to not let COVID-19 stop them from getting married! They rescheduled their big wedding for next year when it should be more safe to have larger gatherings. While looking forward to that, they had an intimate ceremony with their closest loved ones. I am so grateful that I got to witness this special time, despite all the craziness going on in the world! It was like time stood still and this forest was untouched by everything else.

One of my favorite parts of the wedding was they used a unity sand ceremony to show the uniting of the kids from both sides of the family. I had only seen the unity ceremony between the bride and groom before, and I thought this was such a special way to bring the new family together.

When I had asked Kristin what her priorities were when it came to photographs I had to capture that day, she said that family portraits was what mattered most to her.

I loved how welcoming this family was! I did not have a chance meet them before the special day, but they made me feel so at home!
